Pinta island - Galapagos

GALAPAGOS-SANTA CRUZ

Pinta Island, also known as Abingdon, is a small uninhabited island, located in the north of the archipelago, next to the islands Genoese, Marchena, Wolf and Darwin. It has a surface area of 60 km and a maximum altitude of 777 meters. Pinta is the original lonely home George, perhaps the most famous of the Turtles in the Galapagos Islands. It can be visited at the Charles Darwin Science station on Santa Cruz Island.

Also on Pinta Island you can see bifurcated tail gulls, marine iguanas and fur seals.
